What is Honour?

  • Honour is a synonym for belief, faith and worship.

Dishonour can limit the move of God in your life

  • Honour is the discerning, the celebrating and the rewarding of the uniqueness and usefulness of anything or anyone.
  • Honour opens doors and moves life forward, but dishonor closes it.
  • Honour has a lifting power and ability.

Who should we honour?
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy and not with grief, for that is unprofitable for you.” (Romans 13:17, KJV)

  1. God. (I Samuel 2:30)

The lifting of a man is not only limited to the love of God alone. There are other people he lifts separately. They are men of honour, that is, men that honour God.

2. Our Parents (Deuteronomy 5:16)
3. Your spouse (1 Peter 3:5-7)
4. Authority (Romans 13:1, Daniel 6:22)
5. Men and Women of God (1 Tim 5:17, 1 Thess 5:12-13)
